A winery from Mendoza from Mendoza, Argentina, the best of the world in wine tourism
Zuccardi, from Valle de Uco, got on past July 9, 2019 the first place in the ranking of “The World’s Best Vineyards”.
In addition, Bodega Garzón of Uruguay kept the second, Catena Zapata, also from Argentina, was left as 5th and Montes and Clos Apalta, both from Chile, tied on the 6th place.
There was not a pre-established list of requirements, but the Academy of The World’s Best Vineyards, made up of 500 international wine expets, sommeliers and luxury travel journalists went beyond the wines and examined the whole experience. The restaurant, the tour in the vineyard, the atmosphere, the staff, the view, the price, the reputation, the accessibility – everything that makes a visit to a vineyard a valuable and rewarding experience for visitors.
