New air connections in the region at the beginning of 2018
Three large airlines open their doors for new flights beginning in 2018.
– The Paraguayan airline, Amaszonas, started flying between Asuncion del Paraguay and Lima, Peru with a stop-over in Iquique, Chile. This flight operates 3 times a week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Amaszonas also started connecting with a daily flight, the cities of Asuncion and Santiago de Chile.
– Latam airlines will be the only airline that will connect Latin America with Israel. The route will be Santiago – Sao Paulo – Tel Aviv and will offer 3 weekly flights, starting on December 12, 2018; the tickets are on sale already.
– American Airlines will launch its first-ever nonstop flights between Los Angeles International Airport and Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, as part of a broader expansion in service to Mexico and South American destinations. The airline has also announced a new nonstop service between Miami and Cordoba, Argentina, starting on April 2019. The new route Los Angeles – Buenos Aires will start its operation on December 2018.
