Rio de Janeiro’s Snatos Dumont Airoport main runway, closing due to refurbishment works<\/h1>\n

Between August 24 and September 21, 2019, the main runway of Santos Dumont Airport (Rio Janeiro) will be closed for maintenance work.<\/h3>\n

According to the government, airlines have already been informed and have 45 days to plan and readjust the flights network in the terminal, mostly domestic within Brazil.<\/p>\n

\"\"During that period, the auxiliary runway will be operational and will be used by 3C type aircrafts, such as Embraer E-190, Airbus A318 and Boeing 737-700, which minimizes the impact of more than 770,000 passengers passing per month, through Santos Dumont airport.<\/p>\n
