Argentina and Brazil allow the unification of visas for Chinese
With the aim of creating a Multidestino, Argentina and Chile signed an agreement to unify visas for Chinese tourists and now they want to add Brazil to deal with this international incentive project.
The Brazilian Ministry of Tourism reported that the proposal is to draft common legislation, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to exempt Chinese tourists from entry visas in Argentina when they already have authorization to enter Brazil, and vice versa.
The destinations of the region are targeting this market because although China is the main trading partner of almost all South American countries, it is still far from being a real tourist client. The combined offer of natural tourist attractions in Brazil and snow tourism in Argentina should be better exploited from now on.
The simplification of entry processes for foreign tourist is a strong inducer of job creation and for that reason, there was also talk of building a legal device that simplifies the entry of tourists visiting Argentina and Brazil on maritime cruises.
