Now the tourist who wants to know the South American country from September will have to acquire health insurance as a mandatory requirement to enter.

Ecuador will require tourists that are looking to visiting the country, a health insurance, as of next September 10, 2018, the date on which a presidential decree ratified in July will come into force. This was reported by the Ministry of Tourism in an official statement addressed to the national and international tourism industry and the general public.
