The brand new Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta will be the second hotel of the brand in Argentina, along with the Sofitel La Reserva Cardales.

Almost a year after the announcement of the closure of the Sofitel Buenos Aires Arroyo, which took place in December 2017, the city of Buenos Aires has recovered this luxury brand from AccorHotels.

The property The Brick Hotel Buenos Aires was acquired by AccorHotels in 2012 (which previously was the Caesar Park Buenos Aires hotel), and operated under that name from January 2015, being the first hotel in the region that was part of the collection of MGallery boutique hotels.

The decision taken by this hotel chain, has been that in October 2018, The Brick by MGallery will be changed the brand to Sofitel, and the first one, to move to another building.

Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta hotel currently has 175 rooms, Living Room, Library, Lounge, Restaurant and Bar, wine cellar, Patisserie, indoor pool and gym, as well as meeting rooms, events and a privileged location in the city. As part of this rebranding process, numerous works are still being carried out to make it look completely renovated.

On the other hand, the Palladio Hotel Buenos Aires MGallery by Sofitel, located in front of the Pizzurno Palace and the Plaza Rodriguez Peña in the neighborhood of Recoleta, will count from October 2018 with 113 rooms, divided into four categories, 80% of them with more 50 square meters. The property will also have 2 meeting rooms with capacity for 50 and 30 people in an auditorium and two fully equipped business centers, which makes them an option for the corporate segment.

In this way, MGalerry will remain the second property in the region, since the Accor Hotels chain has only one more in Rio de Janeiro. The building is not newly built, but for the hotel a millionaire investment has been made to adapt to the international standards of the MGallery brand, since previously the property had offices and apartments.
