Aeroparque will only do cabotage flights
In the Jorge Newbery Aeroparque there will only be cabotage flights bound to Uruguay
This is one of the last stages of the airport’s regional traffic de-regionalization plan located in the city of Buenos Aires. This plan involved the moving of more than 100 international flights to the Ezeiza airport, in the search to improve the distribution of passengers and avoid saturation.
In the Jorge Newbery Aeroparque there will only be cabotage flights bound to Uruguay.
Aerolineas Argentinas will transfer 38 daily frequencies from Aeroparque to Ezeiza and will add 56 average daily flights from the international airport.
Also, the flag carrier will boost the performance of Ezeiza. The company thus optimizes the interconnection between flights arriving from the interior of the country and the countries which they travel to the United States and Europe with.
This decision stipulates the move of all international traffic flights, except flights to Uruguay, the Ministro Pistarini Airport to relieve congestion originated in the increase that refers to daily relations.
Thus, the new axis of Ezeiza, deploy a new business model, sell the fares in the final destination and amplify the offer to better meet the needs of passengers.
