Alvear Icon, the new 5 stars of Buenos Aires

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Buenos Aires has added in Puerto Madero: the Alvear Icon Hotel & Residences, of the Sutton Group.

The tower located in the Dique III of Puerto Madero has 33 floors: until 21 the hotel operates and from 22 to 30 the 50 residences.
In total there are 159 rooms – the Suites is between the 11th and 18th floors and on the 19th and 20th the Spa & Fitness Center, which overlooks the city and the Rio de la Plata, is installed. In the 1st basement there is the convention center that can be divided into two rooms (Onyx and Coral) and has a capacity of up to 1,200 people.

In the first stage, a lobby bar, the Sunny Yard restaurant, the Wine Bar and a panoramic restaurant with signature cuisine will be opened on the 31st floor (The Grand View) and 32nd the Crystal Bar. Gastronomic will be completed by Glitter, which will be the first glatt kosher deluxe South American restaurant with its own terrace and capacity for 150 diners and MILK & Co, kosher dairy with a menu inspired by the classic family recipes.
During the inauguration of the hotel, Tourism Minister Gustavo Santos stressed that this opening “represents a work source, dignified and sustainable, for 250 men and women, who are here today, with us,” adding that “the Alvear Group , One of the most prestigious and emblematic of the country, and already has 3,000 employees in the establishments that make up the chain. It is a concrete example of the importance of tourism to consolidate the reactivation of the national economy. ”
