It has been announced by the local Government that one of the main airports in Buenos Aires, Aeroparque, will be closed for 3 days between November 29 and December 1, 2018.
This decision has been made due to the safety measures that are being taken as the G20 2018 meeting will be taking place in the city on the same dates in a nearby venue.
Due to this regulation, all the commercial flights, mostly domestic and regional, of that airport will be moved on those days to the International airport of Ezeiza – affecting Aeroparque Airport and even perhaps the third airport in importance, El Palomar.
Please note that if you or your clients have confirmed flights on those dates to / from Aeroparque Airport (AEP), it is most likely that the airline will get in contact with you to re-schedul the flight to Ezeiza Airport (EZE).
Moreover, and following those safety measures that will be across the city due to the G20 meeting, take into account the transfer time to / from the airport and even within the city, as there may be some heavy traffic problems on those dates, and even perhaps a couple of days before and after. Please, check the local media as they will be informing this in due time.
