Explora continues with its expansion and will open the first hotel in El Chaltén
After more than 10 years exploring northern and southern Argentina through Travesías El Chaltén and Salta, this Chilean hotels chain decided to open the first hotel in this country.
This opening is part of the company’s international expansion strategy which already includes hotels in two South American countries: operating in Chile for 25 years and in Peru since mid- 2016, with explora Valle Sagrado in the Cusco region.
It has been announced that the new hotel will open its doors in 2020, in the “Los Huemules” Natural Reserve, located 17 km (10,5 miles) away from El Chaltén.
This area, globally renowned among those who love hiking and the outdoors, has been attracting explorers for more than one century and is where it is planned to open this 50 room new hotel.
