From June 30, LATAM will fly three times per week between Santiago de Chile and Frankfurt

LATAM started selling the tickets for its new nonstop service between Santiago de Chile and Frankfurt last February 05, 2020, becoming the only airline to offer a direct flight between Chile and Germany.

As of June 30, 2020, the Chilean airline will fly three times per week between these two cities, using a Boeing 787-8 aircraft with 30 seats in the Premium Business class and 217 seats in Economy class.

With this new itinerary, LATAM is adding 10 weekly flights, both direct via its hub in São Paulo / Guarulhos, Brazil, to the fifth largest city in Germany and one of the most important financial centers in Europe.

As informed, the flight LA708 belonging to the LATAM Airlines Group will depart from Santiago (SCL) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:20 pm (local time) landing in Frankfurt (FRA) at 5:40 pm (local time) of the day next.

The return flight (LA709) will depart from Frankfurt on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 7:25 p.m. (local time) and will arrive in Santiago at 04:40 am (local time) the next day.

This new service will be the longest non-stop flight in LATAM airlines with a flight time of 14 hours and 20 minutes to Frankfurt and 15 hours and 15 minutes, returning to Santiago, additionally it will also be the most extensive route that arrives in or leaves from Frankfurt airport, even longer than the Lufthansa flight to Buenos Aires (Ezeiza Airport).
