The spectacular Devil’s Throat Circuit in Iguazu National Park is ready to reopen in July, offering visitors a unique experience with breathtaking views and rich biodiversity.
The Devil’s Throat Circuit, located in the iconic Iguazú National Park, is about to reopen its doors after the flooding of the Iguazú River in October 2023. This popular tourist spot, known for its stunning views and rich biodiversity, will be ready to welcome visitors from mid-July 2024, Thursday 11 to be precise, just in time for the winter break.
The National Parks Administration and concessionaire IASA have been working hard to restore and rebuild the walkways, so that tourists can enjoy a safe and exciting experience. The Devil’s Throat Circuit tour includes a ride on the Jungle Ecological Train and a 2200 metre hike, which gives you the chance to see the lush flora and fauna, such as coatis and toucans, up close.
A full safety check of the new walkways and the circuit’s balcony was recently carried out. This inspection was carried out in collaboration with the Department of Works and Maintenance of the Iguazú National Park (PNI), the National Park Ranger Corps, agents of the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI) and the service concessionaire of the Iguazú Falls Argentina Area (IASA). It ensures that all structures comply with the highest safety standards.
