LASA Airlines takes off, to connect
Argentinean Patagonia with the rest of the country and with Chile

LASA will connect a total of 13 cities and with connections that the moment are not operated by any other airline.
The Transport ministry of Argentina gave the permit to the airline LASA to operate 3 domestic routs and 2 interntaional routes. This company will have as the base of its operation the cities of Neuquen and Comodoro Rivadaiva, which will allow to increase the air connectivity in Patagonia, without the need of going via Buenos Aires.
The domestic routes that have been approved are:
- Comodoro Rivadavia-Río Gallegos-El Calafate- Rio Grande-Ushuaia
- Comodoro Rivadavia-Esquel- Bariloche-Viedma-Trelew-Comodoro Rivadavia
- Comodoro Rivadavia-Trelew-Mar del Plata
While the international ones are:
- Neuquén-Temuco-Neuquén-Bahía Blanca-Mar del Plata
- Neuquén-Bariloche-Puerto Montt-Bariloche-Neuquén-Santa Rosa-Mar del Plata
So far there is no communication of an exact date of the start of the operation, but it will be communicated in the course of the next months.
