Manaus Airport announces renovations until December 2019

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]If you are planning a trip to the doorway of the Brazilian Amazon, Manaus, be aware of this new schedule of operation.

Manaus City, with about a million and a half inhabitants, is the doorway to the Brazilian Amazon and for this it is one of the main touristic destinations of Brazil.
Usually, when planning a trip to this country, one thinks about the beaches and Rio de Janeiro or its impressive Carnival, but another of the main attractions that Brazil has, is the Amazon jungle, to the northwest of the country.
Recently, the Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (Infraero) announced that Manaus Airport has begun maintenance in its only lane for pavement recovery until
December 20th, 2019.

To implement the renovations, the lane is closed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays; from 4 pm to 11 pm and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5 pm to
11 pm. The Manaus Airport is the one used when flying into this city, even though the plan is staying in a lodge just outside the city, in a hotel in the middle of the jungle or taking an expedition cruise, sailing for some days around this area for the more adventurous – and once-in-the-lifetime experience!
In case you have a flight already scheduled during this period, the information regarding cancellations or flight reschedules, should be obtained directly with each airline company or your travel agent.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][su_button url=”https://trips-southamerica.com/in-the-news/” style=”flat” background=”#4079b8″ size=”5″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: mail-reply”]Back to News[/su_button][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
