LATAM and Aerolíneas Argentinas Join Forces
Expanded South American Flight Options and Seamless Booking for Travelers
LATAM Group and Aerolíneas Argentinas have entered into an interline agreement that has been in effect since August 19, 2024.
This agreement allows LATAM to sell flights operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas within South America, including domestic flights within Argentina.
Consequently, travelers can now book itineraries that combine flights from both airlines across South America.
According to details provided on LATAM’s exclusive travel agent portal, the agreement applies specifically to itineraries that include LATAM-operated flights connecting with Aerolíneas Argentinas flights within South America.
However, it’s important to note that there is no partnership between the frequent flyer programs of the two airlines:
- Passengers cannot earn or redeem LATAM Pass points/miles on Aerolíneas Argentinas flights.
- LATAM Pass members will not receive associated airline benefits on segments operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas.
We recently checked LATAM’s website, and it is now possible to book flights that combine both airlines.
Airline agreements like these are always welcome, as they simplify travel planning and expand connectivity options for travelers.
