2027 Annular Solar Eclipse in Patagonia

On February 6, 2027, Argentine Patagonia will become the setting for an extraordinary annular solar eclipse. During the annular phase, the Moon will pass in front of the Sun without covering it completely, leaving a brilliant circle of sunlight commonly known as the “ring of fire.”

This four-day program has been designed to experience the phenomenon from Trevelin, within the expected path of annularity, while combining the event with some of the most remarkable landscapes of the Esquel region.

The journey includes a specially organized eclipse observation day, traditional Patagonian gastronomy, and a full-day excursion to Los Alerces National Park.

Designed for travelers interested in astronomy, nature, photography, and local culture, the program can be included as part of a longer Argentina itinerary or adapted for private groups, educational organizations, and special-interest associations.
