- Take a boat trip along the Deseado River estuary to see Magellanic penguins, red-footed cormorants and sea lions in their natural habitat.
- Visit the emblematic Cabo Blanco lighthouse and its salt marshes, home to one of the largest continental colonies of fur seals on the Patagonian coast.
- You can also visit Penguin Island, a marine park that has been declared one of the most biodiverse areas in Patagonia.
- Travel through the region’s railway history, visiting museums and sites related to the old railways that connected the area.
- Take a trip to the impressive Cueva de las Manos, the Cañadón del Río Pinturas and the Tierras de Colores of Patagonia Park.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Comodoro Rivadavia airport and transfer to your hotel in Puerto Deseado. Overnight in Puerto Deseado.
Day 2: Excursion to the Deseado River estuary to observe Magellanic penguins and sea lions. Visit the Cabo Blanco lighthouse and salt flats. Overnight in Puerto Deseado.
Day 3: Free day for optional excursions not included, such as a visit to Penguin Island, the Ex Railway Station, the Brozoski Museum or a city tour. Overnight in Puerto Deseado.
Day 4: Crossing Patagonia, visiting museums and learning about the railway history of the region. Overnight in Los Antiguos.
Day 5: Excursion to the Cueva de las Manos, the Cañadón del Río Pinturas and the Tierras de Colores of the Patagonia Park. Overnight in Los Antiguos.
Day 6: Free day to choose between a boat trip to the Capillas de Mármol (Marble Caves) or a trip along the Route 40. Overnight in Los Antiguos.
Day 7: Transfer to Comodoro Rivadavia and visit to the Petrified Forest of Sarmiento. Overnight in Comodoro Rivadavia.
Day 8: Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
