The first Whales of the season arrived in Puerto Madryn coast
The first southern right whales have arrived in the Argentinean town of Puerto Madryn, at about 15 km from the city center.
Every year, around at this time, the whales arrive in the San Jose and Nuevo Gulfs, that are characterized for having calm waters, in order to reproduce and raise their calves. They arrive slowly and periodically, coming from the cold waters in the southern hemisphere after having fed from the krill.
They are not gregarious animals, so every whale will arrive alone and until all the specimen have arrived, it may occur that they will not be spotted every day
