Update of borders and requirements for Peru and Ecuador
In both Peru and Ecuador, new and more flexible provisions for the entry and promotion of tourism, especially international, are beginning to be implemented.
On the other hand, in Peru, flights coming from countries whose time is greater than 8 hs will start operating again . However, until March 31, flights from the United Kingdom, South Africa and Brazil will continue to be suspended, in addition, non-resident foreigners from those countries or those who have made a stopover in them in the last 14 days will not be able to enter the country.
On the other hand, the passengers who still arrive at this country need to present/display a negative test of PCR whose result has been emitted up to 72 hours before the flight. If positive or not having this test, will have to comply a 14 days quarantine, that it could be raised if a test at the time of arrival or a new test is made and this one is negative.
It continues being a fundamental requirement to complete on Internet a Sworn Declaration of Health and Authorization of Geolocalización, which will allow the pertinent authorities to locate the passenger in case that it is detected that it travelled near a person with Covid-19.
Meanwhile, in Ecuador, the people who have completed the two dose of vaccination in their countries of origin will be able to enter like tourists without presenting a PCR test nor complying any type of quarantine. This measurement will be effective from the 22nd of March and has as the goal to stimulate trips of foreigners and begin to reactivate international tourism.
Who are not vaccinated will have to continue presenting at arrival a negative PCR test (or antigens) of a maximum of 72 hours before arrival, the COE indicated.
The idea is to make agile the arrival of tourists who are vaccinated and to help with it to raise a sector that as a result of the pandemic has lost almost US$ 3,000 million.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
