Guatapé, name given in honor to the Chief Guatapé , is a small town 79 km from the city of Medellín. In its origins, the main economic activities were livestock, agriculture and mining. In 1970, the Public Companies of Medellín, decided to create a dam being flooded 2262 hectares of land  to construct a great hydroelectric complex. This megaproject produced great impact socially, economically, politically, environmentally and culturally in the locality. And this is how this town did not have another option but to change its economy to the tourism industry.

Enjoy a spectacular view from the top through the heart of the Antioqueño East and arrive by helicopter to the town of the tiles to then get to the “Peñón of Guatapé”. A monolith of 220 meters of height, second largest in South America, surrounded by the impressive dam of Guatapé. Going up 740 steps you will be able to arrive at the top of this incredible place to enjoy one of the most beautiful views that Colombia has to offer.

Bogotá is the capital of Colombia and also of the Cundinamarca’s department . It is constituted by 20 localities and is the political, economic, administrative, industrial, artistic, cultural, sport and tourist epicentre of the country. It is the third higher capital of the world (after Quito and La Paz), with an average of 2,625 meters above sea level. It has a wide cultural offer represented in a great amount of museums, theatres and libraries, that has given it the recognition of the “Athens of South America” .

The hill of Monserrate is one of most importants of the city, from there we can appreciate a panoramic view of Bogota, it has a great religious meaning due to the temple constructed on the top, in addition from the height we can enjoy one of the most exquisite  French menus in San Isidro’s Restaurant, place that can be reached by cable car, means of transport that take us to the top of the hill.
