We had a great time on our trip! So much good stuff! Our guides were great! Maria who picked us up in BA and was with us for airport return, was great. Our plane was delayed and she was patient and waited for us! The CasaSur hotel was nice. We had lots of luggage due to the 2wks. rooms were a bit small for what we were use to. Staff was great! Hotel restaurant was good. Location was great- right around the corner from the mall which was nice. We did the Gala Tango show, it was Cindy’s birthday. It was very small and intimate. Alot better than the 200+ person show we did last time. I would recommend that show for sure! Yummy food, great entertainment and a fun fun night. The Argentine Experience was 5 Stars! We loved it. Fun, informative, yummy, and was just a great all around time! That is a must do for everyone going to BA! Hannibal was our guide from Iguazu Airport. He was good. He made sure we had what we needed and was very informative about the area. Super glad we did both sides of falls. At first I thought, why do both sides…. but now I see why! We did the Falls Boat Ride on Argentina side. Super fun! I would recommend that for sure! The Loi Suites hotel was fair. Our air & Bruce/Cindys was on and off. Cindy’s never really worked. She has MS, so the heat was an issue. She did tell the front desk. Issue never really got resolved. I just know she mentioned it alot. The pool area was really pretty and rooms nice and spacious. You hit it on the head when you said “hit/miss service.” Restaurant is ok/ service was SLOOOOOW, every time. Hannibal recommended a restaurant- La Rueda (DELICIOUS and FANTASTIC!!!!) We got a taxi and dropped at restaurant. It wasn’t far and it was worth the effort! Huge menu…. lots of local fare and the best fish options on the whole trip! Side note: I would explore other hotel options if I went back. Hannibal saw us off to Rio. He pulled me aside and gave me good advice about safety while in Rio. He seemed very genuine! Gareth met us in Rio. He was a highlight of the trip! He is Australian but his love for Brazil is evident! He was so great the whole time. So informative about the area. Very flexible with our itinerary and just great all around! The excursions were all good. Christ Redemmer was magical! City Tour was very informative and beautiful! Sugar Loaf- rainy/cloudy but still fun. Lunch options were nice too. Hotel- Hilton at Copacabana Beach was terrific. The staff was great! Breakfast was fantastic. Great selection and beautiful view, great way to start your morning! Restaurnant was fair. We ate in restaurant one night- very limited menu. We visited a restaurant down the beach Marius- BEST EVER! I would recommend that. It’s a little pricey, but seafood galore, giant salad bar and beef, beef, beef- while all brought to your table side. The beach excursion was fun. Alex from Jungle Me Tours took us out to the far west side. It was beautiful. We went on our own Saturday to Ipanema Art Fair. Not far from hotel and super fun! I would recommend that for anyone who is in the area on Saturday! Overall, Trip was terrific! We had a great time! Thank you for all your help in making this a great experience! You did an amazing job and everyone who helped us along the way was terrific!
