El Palomar Airport in Buenos Aires will be International

The El Palomar airport in Buenos Aires will be international starting in November, when direct flights to/from Santiago de Chile will start operating there, run by the JetSmart commercial airline.

In addition, JetSmart requested a series of routes to operate from Santiago de Chile to different cities in the interior of Argentina, including El Palomar and Iguazú, a destination that the Argentine government is working to make it international and although it has not yet been communicated a specific date, the government states that JetSmart will have a direct flight between Santiago de Chile and Iguazu soon.
