Explora Hotels will open two new hotels in 2021 in Argentine and Chilean Patagonia.

The prestigious chain of luxury hotels, Explora, with hotels in Peru, Chile and soon in Argentina, is characterized by having sustainable development, luxury and deep exploration of destinations as fundamental pillars. The establishments of this firm stand out for being located in remote places, for their architectural style and for being in accordance with the environment and being respectful with the cultural environment and the surrounding nature.

In October 2021 a new Lodge will open its doors within the Patagonia National Park in the Aysén region, extreme south of Chile. The park is made up of land donated to the Chilean state by the Tompkins Conservation Foundation and is part of the new Network of National Parks in Chilean Patagonia. The exclusive 10-room lodge will be located in the Chacabuco Valley (47.1174 ° S, 72.4853 ° W), a river basin traveled since ancient times by nomadic ethnic groups and endemic fauna.

Also, at the end of this year, this renowned chain will disembark in Argentina for the first time, inaugurating a luxurious hotel in the famous “National Capital of Trekking”, El Chaltén, which is 3 hours away from El Calafate. This Lodge, with 20 rooms, will be found in the old ranches built by the settlers within the “Los Huemules” Nature Reserve, 17 km from the small mountain town. With a privileged location, in the middle of a forest of ñires and lengas, this magnificent space will have views of the Electric Valley and the Marconi glacier, thus allowing to know the Southern Ice Fields, hiking and rock climbing, among other activities within the range of possibilities that will be offered in the establishment.
