Meliã Hotels International has announced the opening of Meliã Iguazú,and, from 2018, will be completely renovated to adapt to the attributes and standards of the brand Meliã Hotels & Resorts.
The only hotel located in the heart of the National Park of Iguazu, Argentine side, considered as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and UNESCO World Heritage.
The hotel is currently the only one to offer panoramic views of the famous Devil’s Throat from the Argentinian side.
Until now, it has been operated by another international hotel group (Sheraton) but has become Meliã Iguazú since last September 30 and, from 2018, will be completely renovated to adapt to the attributes and standards of the brand Meliã Hotels & Resorts .
The hotel has 169 rooms – including rooms overlooking the waterfalls – and a wide range of gastronomic options (including a takeaway area), swimming pools, spa, gym, children’s areas and meeting and celebration rooms.
In addition, the hotel has an Interpretation Center for the dissemination and enhancement of the natural environment of Iguazu and allows visitors to walk up to the falls.
