From April 3 Aerolíneas Argentinas will activate the “Córdoba hub” that will allow greater connectivity between the north and the south of the country without passing through Buenos Aires.
The “Hub” concept will reorganize flights by reducing waiting times on passenger connections.
The northern destinations of the Cordoba hub will be:
Mendoza
Jujuy
Tucuman
Salta
Iguazu
Resistance
While those from the south will cover the cities of:
Mendoza
Bariloche
Ushuaia
Calafate
Trelew.
In addition, Neuquén and Comodoro Rivadavia are added as new direct routes from the city of Cordoba.
Yesterday, the Minister of Transport of the Nation, Guillermo Dietrich and the president of the Aerolineas Argentinas Group, Mario Dell’Acqua announced that in January they achieved an average punctuality of 86%, having carried 7.1% more passengers than in the same period of the previous year.
Meanwhile, Diego García, commercial director of the Group highlighted during the meeting that “the new Atlantic Corridor,” which will also debut on April 3 and will join daily the cities of Mar del Plata and Ushuaia, with stops in Bahía Blanca, Trelew, and Comodoro Rivadavia.
This “Atlantic Corridor” is added to the federal corridors “South”, “North” and “Petrolero” that the Group is already operating to interconnect destinations in the interior of the country, without passing through Buenos Aires.
