New suites and layout at Awasi Atacama

Awasi Atacama – Relais & Chateaux has grown and has a new layout as they have acquired a new plot of land alongside the existing Round Suites, on which they have built 5 new Superior Circular Suites.

The Rectangular Suites and reception (across the road) will no longer be used, and the hotel will now have a total of 12 round suites, all located together on the same side as the pool, restaurant and pre-existing Round Suites.

Opening back in 2007, Awasi Atacama was the first of their three hotels, followed by Awasi Patagonia in 2013, and Awasi Iguazu in 2018. This year, Awasi Atacama was included in the Conde Nast Traveller Gold List and in the Brides Magazine Honeymoon Awards.

Built in the traditional pre-Inca style using local materials (stone, adobe and wood), the 5 new suites measure 70 square metres, each with its own private patio and outdoor shower.
