2,700 meters high and only 50 kilometers from the capital city of Chile, El Colorado ski resort stands out from the rest of the winter resorts because of a single feature: the entire valley of Santiago may be watched from its base.
Together with El Colorado and Valle Nevado, it is the largest skiable surface in South America. El Colorado offers 38 kilometers distributed into 30 long and varied runs that may interconnect with the Nevado runs by means of a special ticket.

How to get there?
El Colorado is located 36 kilometers away from Santiago and has a total of 101 trails. Its highest peak is the Cerro Embudo, located 3,470 meters above sea level and the track that is located lowest is at 2,560 meters meters above sea level; Los Zorros trail.
The maximum gradient reached in El Colorado and Farellones is 1,090 meters above sea level.
