The chilean airline, JetSmart announces New International routes between Chile and Brazil

As of the end of December 2019, JetSMART airlines will start international operations between Santiago de Chile and 3 different Brazilian cities.

As reported by the company, from December 2019, direct flights will be available from Santiago to three places in Brazil that are highly valued by tourists: Sao Paulo, Salvador de Bahia and Foz do Iguacu, with “permanently low” prices, as stated.

On December 27, will begin the sale of tickets to go to Salvador de Bahia from Santiago, and will have three weekly frequencies in summer and two during the rest of the year. In this way, this air connection between the Chilean capital and one of the most important cities in northern Brazil, will allow tourists to include in one trip one of the most important beach resorts in Brazil, along with wineries and vineyards surrounding Santiago.

Shortly after, on January 5, 2020, operations will begin between Foz do Iguacu and Santiago de Chile, with two weekly frequencies. Foz do Iguazu is the Brazilian destination where tourists can visit the Brazilian park of the Iguazu Falls, one of the New 7 Natural Wonders of the World, and that protects species of fauna and flora in danger of extinction, such as the jaguar and araucaria. There you can meet the Devil´s Throat, the largest waterfall of the whole, with 90 meters high.

As for Sao Paulo, one of the most important destinations for business trips, tickets are already available since last September 2019. Sao Paulo is the largest city in Brazil and is considered the most important in the cultural, economic and social field fulfilling the role of one of the largest financial centers in Latin America.
