    The Best time to travel to Brazil for foreigners is in great part determined by the weather depending on where you will go and

    Brazil’s climate at this time is generally warm, however in regions such as the south and southeast storms begin and temperatures are lower.

    Brazil flights allow, as their restrictions are limited to 50 pounds (23 kg) per person.

    2 voltages, 127v (110v) and 220v.
    Outlets have 3 holes, while the plug can have two or three round plugs.
    This plug model is relatively new in Brazil, so in many cases the old outlets (one round hole and two flat plugs) coexist with the new ones.

    Brazil with an estimated area of over 8.5 million km² is the country of South America that occupies half the continent’s landmass.
    It is the fifth largest and fifth most-populous country in the world.

    Air Transportation

    The majority of direct flights to Brazil fly to São Paulo’s Guarhulhos International Airport, Brasilia International Airport and Rio de Janeiro-Galeão (Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport).

    Sailing

    By Sea:The main passenger port is Rio de Janeiro, which is used by many international cruise ships. Other popular ports are Santos in São Paulo, Salvador de Bahía, Recife and Fortaleza.
    By River: Regular catamarans routes trough the Amazon River to Manaus from Peru and Colombia.

    By Land

    There’s direct land access to Brazil from nine countries.
    From Argentina: easiest crossings are near Foz do Iguaçu and Paso de los Libres to Uruguaiana.
    From Bolivia: The main crossings are at Corumbá, Cáceres, Guajará-Mirim and Brasiléia. The busiest crossing is between Quijarro – Corumbá.
    From Uruguay: The crossing most used by travelers is Chuy (Uruguay)–Chuí (Brazil).
    From Paraguay: The two major border crossings are Ciudad del Este (Paraguay)–Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) and Pedro Juan Caballero (Paraguay)–Ponta Porã (Brazil).
    From Colombia: Leticia, on the Rio Amazonas in far southeast Colombia, is contiguous with Tabatinga (Brazil).
    From Peru:via the border at Assis (Brazil)–Iñapari (Peru).
