Updates on Airlines in the South Cone

Gol and Sky Airlines are expanding their operation in Peru. Norwegian Argentina withdraws from the domestic market, transferring operation to
JetSmart.

After eight months of starting its national flights in Peru, last December 2019 Sky Airlines announced two new destinations within the country: Juliaca and Puerto Maldonado, both with connections from Lima.

The flights will begin in mid-February 2020 and SKY will have a flight to Juliaca on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sunday. In the case of Puerto Maldonado, the airline will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

In the case of GOL Airlines, it has started its operation last December to Peru with seven weekly frequencies between Lima and Sao Paulo.

Tourism and commercial relationships between Brazil and Peru will be boost thanks to the entry of Gol Airline and now, the connections between both countries will increase from 26 to 33 weekly frequencies. The new 7 flights between Lima and Sao Paulo from GOL, will be added to the 52 weekly flights that already connect Peru with Brazil, 11 of which are to Rio de Janeiro, 7 to Porto Alegre, 5 to Foz do Iguassu and 3 to Brasilia.

Finally, Norwegian airlines, which began operating domestic flights in Argentina a little over a year ago, announced last December 2019 that it leaves the country and that its operation will be acquired by JetSmart immediately after the announcement was made.

Following this, anyone wanting to to purchase tickets on Norwegian flights must access www.Norwegian.com until March 28, 2020 and, as of 29, both, JetSMART and Norwegian Argentina flights, either operated from El Palomar or from Aeroparque airports, can be found at www.JetSMART.com.

At a press conference, Estuardo Ortíz, CEO & founder of JetSMART Airlines, said they are very excited about the opportunity to combine Norwegian Argentina´s operations
with the current JetSMART operations, as the company has a long-term commitment to Argentina as a key market in its vision of becoming the leading ultra-low cost airline in South America.
